Historically, the Caribbean coast has been known for it´s tropical glamour embodied by a few exclusive beaches. From the Cuba of the 1930´s to the Saint Thomas of the 1960´s passing through the Casa de Campo’s beaches, this area has been the center of attention of the world’s elite. During the last decade this glamour has been reflected in a City known for it´s upcoming sophistication and it´s characteristic atmosphere: Cartagena de Indias.

We work with traditional artisans to help preserve their skills, share their legacy with the world and offer products that are truly inspired by the tropics.

We are proud to partner with ProAves to help save the Santa Marta Parakeet.

By purchasing the Parakeet Kit you can help save the greatest treasure of our country; birds.
Martin Pescador is committed to preserving the Santa Marta Parakeet - endemic to Colombia and in danger of extinction.

The program is the result of seven years of research carried out by Fundacion ProAves with the threatened parrots of Colombia, during which we discovered that logging of mature trees for timber in the Andes of Colombia has removed many of the natural nest cavities that are so vital for parrots to nest each year.
